Nina Shengold

Nina Shengold’s first novel CLEARCUT
(Anchor Books) was selected as one of 2005's Best Books by the Seattle
Post-Intelligencer, San Francisco Bay Weekly, Book Marks and Out.com; it was a
finalist for the Henry Miller Award for Best Literary Sex Scene. Shengold won
the Writers Guild Award for her teleplay LABOR OF LOVE, starring Marcia
Gay Harden, and the ABC Playwright Award for HOMESTEADERS. She is
Artistic Director of Andrew Lloyd Webber-phobic theatre company Actors & Writers
and Books Editor at Chronogram. She lives in Stone Ridge with her daughter Maya
and a charismatic mutt.
